As a child of the 1980s, I grew up watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on TV. I loved their adventures, their sense of humor, and their ability to always come out on top. When I was older, I learned that the Turtles had actually been created by a comic book artist named Kevin Eastman. I was fascinated by the idea of these four ordinary teenage boys who were transformed into heroes by a mystical accident.
Years later, when I was introduced to the Universal Monsters, I was immediately drawn to their dark and mysterious appeal. I loved the idea of these classic monsters being brought to life in new and exciting ways. So when I heard that there was a crossover comic book series featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Universal Monsters, I was immediately intrigued.
The series, which was written by Tom Waltz and illustrated by Andy Kuhn, was a lot of fun. It was great to see the Turtles team up with classic monsters like Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula, and the Wolf Man. The story was also well-written and suspenseful.
But the real star of the series was Donatello. Donatello is the Turtles’ resident scientist and inventor. He’s the brains of the group, and he’s always coming up with new gadgets and inventions to help the Turtles in their adventures. In the crossover series, Donatello gets to use his skills to create some amazing new weapons and devices to help the Turtles battle the Universal Monsters.
Donatello is a great character, and he’s one of my favorite Turtles. He’s a smart, resourceful, and loyal friend. He’s also a great role model for kids. I’m a huge fan of both the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Universal Monsters, so when I saw that they were doing a crossover figure of Donatello as The Invisible Man, I was immediately sold. The figure is absolutely stunning, with incredible detail and paintwork. The accessories are also really cool, and I love the way that you can swap out Donatello’s head, hands, and feet for the “invisible” versions.
The figure is also really fun to play with. I love being able to make Donatello disappear and reappear at will. It’s a great way to liven up any TMNT collection.
