As a kid, I was always fascinated by nature. I loved exploring the woods behind my house, looking for new animals and plants. I would spend hours watching the birds in my backyard, and I would dream of one day being a wildlife photographer.

One of my favorite projects was a photo essay I did on the chimpanzees of Gombe National Park in Tanzania. I spent several months living with the chimpanzees, observing their behavior and photographing their interactions. I learned so much about these amazing creatures, and I was able to share their story with the world.
My work as a National Geographic photographer has been a dream come true. I have been able to see some of the most amazing places on earth, and I have met some of the most incredible people. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love of nature with others.
